One of our liveries thought he was doing us a favour by doing so but it slightly back fired. The fire started to burn with gusto &amp; was getting close to a barn with hay in, plus we were ready to go home so we thought we had better put it out. A normal hose wasnt having any effect because it was so hot so we used a tool we had bought for bathing the ponies called a bathing blade. Its an attactment to put on a hose, a long blade with holes in it so the water comes out like a jet washer. Boy that done the trick! Two of of us turned over the hot straw while my friends daughter soaked every thing with the blade.
